WWE Superstar of The Year - WWE Awards 2015

Over the following weeks, we'll be looking back at some of the best (and worst) moments of the year, and we'll be giving awards in different categories (Best Superstar, Best Jobber, Most Overrated, Best Transformation etc.). This week, the award we'll be giving out is: WWE Superstar Of The Year. To win this one, we looked for a male wrestler who could actually wrestle, put on great matches, have decent mic skills and be supported by creative. While there was some debating, the verdict is in!

Runner Ups

- Brock Lesnar
- John Cena
- Dean Ambrose
- Roman Reigns

Seth Rollins

2015 must be Seth Rollins' best year ever! To start things off, he had what might be the greatest cash-in in WWE history. The fact that it happened at Wrestlemania's main event was unexpected, tense and exciting. Seeing him become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion was an instant Mania moment.

Then, we can talk about his title run. Yes, booking wasn't great, and he was treated like a coward baby. And sure, most of his wins weren't 'clean'. But looking back at it, he successfully defended his title against Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose, John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Sting, and most importantly Kane (just kidding). Those are some of the biggest names in the industry. They couldn't defeat Rollins.

And then, we can talk about the amazing matches he had. So many exellent matches. The highlights? The Triple Threat at the Rumble (Rollins vs. Lesnar vs. Cena), the Raw match against Ambrose, and the SummerSlam 'Winner Takes it All' match against Cena. The point: Rollins was the best performer in 2015. Even if an injury ended his year in November, he's still the best Superstar WWE had this year. Go rest champ. 2016 needs you. WWE needs you. We need you.
