Biggest WWE Return of The Year - WWE Awards 2015

Over the following weeks, we'll be looking back at some of the best (and worst) moments of the year, and we'll be giving awards in different categories (Best Superstar, Best Jobber, Most Overrated, Best Transformation etc.). This week, the award we'll be giving out is: WWE Return Of The Year. To win this one, we looked for a return that was unexpected, shocking and exciting. We also decided based on how the company booked these returns after they happened. And believe me when I say this: this year's biggest return came from the Dudley Boyz.

Runner Ups
- Alberto Del Rio
- Vince Mcmahon
- Tommy Dreamer
- Chris Jericho

The Dudley Boyz

The Dudley Boyz return is one of those wrestling moments I will never forget. Nobody expected it. Nobody. Sure, they teased us by having Bubba show up at the Rumble (no Devon), but everyone assumed it was a one time thing. Months later they came back and everybody lost their shit.

After all, the last time we had seen these guys in a WWE ring was almost ten years ago (2005). For the longest time I would ask myself: what if they came back?. I'm one of those fans who tries to watch all the promotions, but ultimately stays with WWE. So I didn't really watch a lot of their work with other companies.

Back to the return. On the August 24 episode of Raw, The Dudley Boyz came back! During a New Day match, we heard their signature fireworks. It had been so long that people didn't realise what was going on. Once the music hit though, the crowd gave one of the biggest pops I've seen this year. And just like that, Dudleyville is back. The 3D is back. TESTIFYYY is back. And the extreme is back. While their booking hasn't been as good as it could, I just love seeing them on my TV. And I'm sure they'll do something special for Wrestlemania. A TLC match with the New Day? The Hardys? Who knows...

Congrats, Dudley Boyz! Glad you guys are back!
