Top 5 PS4 Exclusives 2015

It took me some time before I actually realised that none of the Sony first party studios released a game this year. While that means that 2016 and 2017 will be full of amazing, exciting exclusives like Uncharted 4, The Last Guardian, Horizon Zero Dawn and Detroit, it made me ask myself:  Did 2015 have any good PlayStation exclusives? So I went back and looked at some of the games that came out this year, and I realised 2015 had great games! Here are the best CONSOLE exclusive PS4 game, so if any of your cocky Microsoft and Nintendo friends start talking shit, link them to this top 5.

5. Everybody's Gone to the Rapture

Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is the most unique experience I've had this year. No fighting, no puzzles. Just exploring a beautiful town (in first person view) trying to understand how the rapture happened, and how people dealt with it. It's depressing, impressive, original and fun. This game is an absolute must play.

4. Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection

If you've never played an Uncharted game, this is your number 1.  It's over. Stop reading this article and buy this game. All three titles are some of the most important and enjoyable games in PlayStation's history. For the rest of us who had already played the games, it gave us a chance to revisit Drake and Sully's crazy adventures at 1080p/60fps, while we patiently wait for Uncharted 4's release date (please don't get delayed).

3. Helldivers

This game actually caught me off guard. In Helldivers, players need to learn to coordinate their actions during chaotic combat, to complete objectives and to avoid friendly-fire casualties. With single player, and online/couch multiplayer, this game wasn't really about the story. It was pure gameplay. Fun, original and deep, Helldivers will have you hooked for a long time.

2. Until Dawn

Until Dawn caught my attention the second I heard its premise: an 80's horror film-inspired video game, in which all of your choices have real consequences. I really didn't want this to disappoint me... and it didn't. It's scary, beautiful and action packed. Nobody expected this game to be amazing, but it somehow is. Even if some issues hold it back from greatness, it's still a must play in my book.

1. Bloodborne

As someone who never touched the dark souls franchise, I was extremely interested in seeing how I would feel about Bloodborne. The result? The hardest game I've played this year, but also the most rewarding one. Bloodborne is an amazing action RPG, one with great gameplay, an immersive setting and incredible boss battles. This is probably the biggest PlayStation 4 exclusive out right now, and it might be the best one.
