2015 Best PS4 Games - Graphics

2015 is almost over, and it has been a great year! It was a superb year for PlayStation owners. So many remarkable games came out.. In the following weeks, we'll be looking back at some of the best games that came out this year, and giving them awards on different categories (Gameplay, multiplayer, story, etc.) This week, we went back and asked ourselves: what is the best looking game that came out this year? And while a lot of games look beautiful (Metal Gear Solid, Until Dawn, Battlefront), the winner is: Dying Light!

I won't lie, I have a soft spot for this game. Dying light is one of those games that came out at the perfect time. As you might recall, January was a slow month for gaming. The result? It was Dying Light's month! While the story could have been better, gameplay was so much fun. Especially the climbing mechanic. I've never been satisfied with parkour in games, but Dying Light absolutely nailed it! All of this makes Dying Light an impressive new IP. On top of that, this game proved that a AAA game doesn't have to come out in the fall to sell copies.

Back to the graphics, they simply look spectacular! When I first played the game, I had my first 'this is next gen' moment. It just looks so good! Water, trees, buildings, fire, faces all look incredible! Lighting looks real. And don't get me started with the zombies! They all look terrifying, in the best way possible. Plus, draw distance is amazing, and there's close to no pop in. Dying Light is simply a graphical masterpiece. Congrats, Techland!
