WWE Hell In A Cell PPV Review (Updates After Every Match)

1. Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro and Neville vs. Rusev, Sheamus and King Barrett (Kickoff match)

I still can't believe booking gave us a match we saw last week. That's lazy booking. Anyways, this match was pretty damn good. Much better than their Raw match. Everybody brought their A game, and the match was super entertaining. For the first time ever, the crowd was actually popping for a kickoff match. Guess what? I think Cesaro is getting a push. They booked him like a star! And, he performed like a star. Great match! Also, am I the only one who wants to see Barrett, Sheamus and Rusev as a big European stable?
Winner: Cesaro, Neville and Dolph Ziggler

2. John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio  (US Championship)

Holy shit! DEL RIO! Go back and look at my articles, I said Del Rio had to come back! And he did! WTF!? Great job, WWE. At first they made it look like it was Swagger, but out of nowhere, Del Rio comes out. I was truly surprised. They both did great. Nice moves and old school wrestling. And the finish was super unexpected. No AA's, or STUF's. Del Rio does a new finisher and gets the title. DOPE! Lastly, if Cena is leaving the company for some months, how are they going to sell? Because Rio kicked Cena, but it wasn't big enough to take him out for 3 months.
Winner: Alberto Del Rio (SI)

3. Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt (Hell in a Cell Match)

Wasn't too excited for this match. They had been feuding for a couple of months now, and I was afraid the match would be slow and PG. But this was awesome! Physical, intense and violent. They did some innovative stuff I've never seen in the cell. They both went out there and gave everything they had. Reigns looked good and he's sure to get some fans out of this. Wyatt also killed it. Hopefully, he'll get a monster heel push. Anyways, one of the best hell in a cell matches I've seen for a while. Great way to wrap up the feud.
Winner: Roman Reigns

4. New Day vs. The Dudley Boyz (Tag Team Championships)

I love the New Day so much. Most entertaining part of WWE right now (by far). Glad they kept the titles. Match started out slow. The crowd was tired after the Reigns vs. Wyatt. However, the guys went out and did a pretty good job. Even if Devon botched a move pretty badly (we'll be seeing that in the next Botchamania for sure). Still, it was entertaining. And that trombone spot was pure gold. So old school. Not great, but pretty freaking good.
Winner: New Day

5. Charlotte vs. Nikki Bella (Divas Championship)

Better than I expected. Was it perfect? No. But it was pretty damn good. Physical as hell. And there were some pretty cool spots. My problemswith the match? Just like last time, Charlotte did nothing but take a beating for 10 min and win after 3 moves. They're making the champ look weak. Also, the finish didn't go as smooth as they though it was going to go. The transition was too slow. Still, solid match! Also, Paige is probably starting a feud with Becky Lynch. Pretty cool stuff
Winner: Charlotte

6. Seth Rollins vs. Kane (WWE World Heavyweight Championship)

Good match. Probably the weakest match so far. There just wasn't anything too special. Good wrestling, but no big spots, no tombstone and a botched table spot. Rollins is still killing it though. He'll be such a good babyface.
Winner: Seth Rollins

7. Kevin Owens vs. Ryback (Intercontinental Championship)

I thought thee guys were going to get a lot of time, but they didn't do much. Match was pretty quick and to the point. While it was physical, it wasn't too exciting. It might have been because of the crowd. They were dead. And, they were booing the crap out of Ryback. Not too good. Glad Owens won.
Winner: Kevin Owens

8.  The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar (Hell in a Cell)

This match was a masterpiece. Amazing. Bravo to both guys. Blood, violence, danger and a nice finish. This is one of those matches where the wrestling wasn't great, but the atmosphere was. Both guys were selling, and whenever I thought the match was done, they would do amazing kickouts. When Lesnar started to tear the ring apart, my jaw was on the floor. That was a classic match, that shows you how powerful wrestling can be when the two right giants collide. Also, The Undertaker is a beast. Passing the torch to Lesnar, and Bray Wyatt. What a legend.
Winner: Brock Lesnar
