WWE Night of Champions 2015 PPV Review (All Matches + Score)

I was extremely excited for this PPV. After getting a lot of bad finishes at SummerSlam, Night of Champions had the chance to deliver big matches with the likes of Sting, Seth Rollins, John Cena and The Dudley Boyz. And for the most part, it delivered. This PPV was great! Also, even if I got a lot of submissions (thank you guys so much), nobody beat my predictions (again). Sooo, go me! Anyways, to the review:

1. Stardust and The Ascension vs. Neville and The Lucha Dragons

This kickoff match served it's purpose. It was far from the best match, but it was exciting enough for me to get excited for the actual PPV to start. Wrestling wise it was average, but I was glad to see Stardust pick the victory. He's an interesting character. Could be doing bigger things. Also, Mr. Botchmania (aka. Sin Cara) botched 2 moves. How can this man botch so often!?
Winner: Stardust and The Ascension

2. Kevin Owens vs. Ryback (Intercontinental Championship)

First match of the actual PPV. And Owens wins his first major WWE title! Couldn't be more happy for him! He deserves it. And I'm positive he'll be a better champion than Ryback. Back to their match, it was pretty good. Wrestling was nice, but not spectacular. Really liked how physical the match was. Owens focused on Ryback's shoulder, hurting it over and over and over.
Winner: Kevin Owens

3. Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev

First off, I love Ziggler's new attire. He's like the new Shawn Michaels! But he also adds his own flavor. I really hope he keeps the pants. Anyways, match was pretty good. It was entertaining, and I enjoyed the finish. Summer ruined the match, and Ziggler ended up winning. I wish Rusev would have won though. He's getting buried. Anyways, I wonder where this feud is going next. It's been at it for the past 2-3 months so it should end pretty soon.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler

4. The New Day vs. The Dudley Boyz (Tag Team Championships)

This is why a good story is important. The wrestling wise in this match was okay, but it should have been better. However, I was so invested in the story, to the point where I didn't care if the wrestling wasn't top notch. I just wanted to be entertained. And they delivered. Super fun match!
Winner: The Dudley Boyz

5. Nikki Bella vs. Charlotte (Divas Championship)

This match was a bit pointless. People weren't interested anymore because Nikki had already broken AJ Lee's record. Anyways, this was another super physical match. It was slow, but intense. Nikki kayfabe injured Charlotte's leg. But Charlotte sold the crap out of the injury. I thought it was real for a minute. What I didn't like about the match is the fact that Nikki took 3-4 moves before tapping out to the figure-8. It was literally Charlotte getting destroyed for 10 minutes, and a 2 minute comeback that ends with her winning. While I'm glad Charlotte won, the match ended too soon.
Winner: Charlotte

6. Reigns, Ambrose and Chris Jericho vs. The Wyatt Family

Jericho! So glad to see him back! I was so worried they were going to be stupid and have Orton as the partner. But Y2J is back! He looked great, doing all his classic moves. At the end, he cost Reigns and Ambrose the match. While it probably was the best booking decision, I'll always hate seeing Jericho lose. Still, solid match.
Winner: The Wyatt Family

7. John Cena vs. Seth Rollins (United States Championship)

Great match! Wrestling was super nice, and both guys got to showcase their strength and agility. While I feel like their last match was more exciting. However, did Rollins really go down after one AA!? C'mon, at least give him another one!
Winner: John Cena

8. Sting vs. Seth Rollins (WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Final match, and it was the best one! Not wrestling wise, but it had so many elements. The match started slow because the crowd was tired after the Cena match, but it things got interesting really quickly. Sting actually took bumps. He went through a table, and jumped from the top rope. Sadly, it took a piece of him. He collapsed in the middle of the match, and apparently his neck injury is serious. Career threatening even. That sucks. Hope he recovers. Anyways, Rollins ended up winning! Good.... I guess. I wish he would have beaten Cena and lost against Sting. His WWE record is now 0-2. Also, masked Kane is back! Overall, amazing match!
Winner: Seth Rollins
