Roman Reigns Needs To Turn Heel

With the Hell in a Cell PPV only a couple of weeks away, I started to think about the predictions article that will be going up in a week or two. While I'm extremely excited for some of the matches, I just don't care about Reigns' match. He's becoming a stale, boring character. That could easily change if he turns heel.

Now, let’s get something out of the way. I like Roman. While his mic skills need some work, and his in-ring abilities aren’t just as good as some of his colleagues, he’s still a great wrestler. A wrestler full of charisma and potential. However, it’s hard to argue with the people saying that Reigns was being pushed down their throats.

WWE clearly sees Reigns as the next big superstar, over the likes of Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens or Dean Ambrose. I don't think Reigns is nearly as good as the other guys I just mentioned, both wrestling wise and mic wise. However, I do see Reigns as the next superstar. But the way booking tried to spoon feed us the idea of Roman as the next John Cena was atrocious. And because of the bad booking he got, Reigns will have to wait a while until he gets another shot at stardom.

As of late, Ambrose and Reigns have been stuck in a feud against the Wyatt family. I don't hate this feud or anything, but they could be doing better things. Luckily, I have a solution.

Have Reigns turn on Ambrose. They could begin an interesting, emotional feud that would have the fans on the edge of their seats. And the heel turn could eventually lead him into a rematch against Brock Lesnar, one that would have Reigns as the absolute heel. The posibilities are endless.
