WWE SummerSlam 2015: Official Predictions

SummerSlam is this week! This year's edition will be the biggest one to date. The show will be 4 hours, meaning that eventually SummerSlam will become Wrestlemania's little brother. I'm really excited for this PPV. With a bunch of exciting matches, the card is looking pretty badass. Tons of rumors are going around and the hype is building up. Therefore, it's time for me to do my official predictions. Remember: Tell me your predictions! If you beat me (doubt it) I'll follow you on Twitter and I'll mention your name/handle on my official review of the PPV.

1. Sheamus vs. Randy Orton (Singles Match)

While I was fine with Orton winning his match against Sheamus at Battleground (it was at Randy's hometown), Sheamus must win this match. He just won the Money in the Bank briefcase and he needs to be booked like a powerhouse. I would only be okay with Sheamus losing if he cashes in at the end of the evening, but I don't think it'll happen. Sheamus should win.

Prediction: Sheamus

2. PrimeTime Players vs. New Day vs. Lucha Dragons vs. Los Matadores (Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Championships Match)

To be honest, I wasn't the biggest fan of The PrimeTime Players' title run. They were good, but not as good as The New Day. New Day are genuinely hated by fans. On top of that, PrimeTime have had the titles for a while. SummerSlam is the perfect place to switch belts. Los Matadores and The Lucha Dragons have no chance. So my predictions goes to The New Day recovering the titles.

Prediction: The New Day

3. Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens (Singles Match)

This is the match I'm the most uncertain about. Both guys could use a win. Cesaro is on the verge of stardom and Kevin Owens needs to be established as a top heel. However, we as fans are going crazy for Cesaro! So hopefully Cesaro will get the win and keep that momentum going.

Prediction: Cesaro

4. Ryback vs. Big Show vs. The Miz (Intercontinental Championship)

The Big Guy was injured and therefore couldn't defend his championship at Battleground. Luckily, he's back and he's better than ever. While this match was supposed to happen a month ago, I'm still somehow interested in it. Even if I know Ryback is winning. Big Show won't get the title. And while Mix could win, Ryback is elevating the title. If it's not broken don't fix it, right?

Prediction: Ryback

5. Stephen Amell & Neville vs. Stardust & King Barrett (Tag Team Match)

Don't have a lot to say about this one. Amell will pin Stardust and get the victory. It's one of those celebrity cameos. It'll be entertaining, but as a wrestling match it won't be anything crazy.

Prediction: Stephen Amell & Neville

6. Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev

The Showstopper is finally back. And is he using the superkick as a finisher now? God, I hope so. Anyways, this match should be pretty entertaining and my guess is Ziggler winning. He just came back and he should start with a win.

Prediction: Dolph Ziggler

7. Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper vs. Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose

Let me start this one by saying: Bray Wyatt can't lose. He's already 2-0 at SummerSlam. This could be the beginning of a new streak. I really hope they don't ruin it. However, Roman Reigns needs to be booked strong. Complicated right? My solution is: have Dean betray Roman. Everybody wins. Roman and Dean could start a stellar feud while Bray maintains his SummerSlam streak.

Prediction: Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper (Ambrose betrays Reigns)

8. Team Bella vs. PCB vs. Team B.A.D. (Elimination Match)

This match is great for the Divas division! It'll be long, unique and if booked right, excellent. What's the key? Make it a wrestling fest. It doesn't really matter who wins, as long as there's great wrestling. So I'll go ahead and say Team PCB is getting the victory.

Prediction: Team PCB

9. Seth Rollins vs. John Cena (Champion vs. Champion Match)

While doing my research I found out this weird fact: John Cena has lost his last 4 SummerSlam matches. Punk beat him in 2011 and 2012, Daniel Bryan came out on top in 2013 and Brock Lesnar destroyed him in 2014. So it's easy to think that Cena will finally get his SummerSlam win, right? Well I say NO! Rollins is doing a great job as a champion, he should stay with the belt. And Cena is not the man that should defeat the champ. Keep that honor for Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose or Cesaro.

Prediction: Seth Rollins.

10. Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker (Singles Match)

I'm so excited about this match. Will it be the match of the night? Story-wise, hell yeah! But in pure wrestling? I don't think so. What makes this match so exciting is the fact that both Lesnar and Taker are in the same position: They should win, but they definitely can't lose. Taker deserves his revenge, but Lesnar is the future of the company. Neither of them can lose.... cleanly. My prediction: Sting comes out and attacks Taker. Lesnar wins, and we have Taker's last match: Wrestlemania 32, The Undertaker vs. Sting.

Prediction: Brock Lesnar (Sting Interference)
